Tricks, treats, and lots of good eats is what Halloween is all about! But hold on, it’s about more than just candy, and this collection of yummy recipes proves that. This fun and festive roundup has everything from appetizers, drinks, and main dishes to make any celebration the best for big and little kids alike.
Whether you are trick or treating with the kids, hosting a neighborhood party, or having a family get-together, make sure you’ve got all the recipes and fun party ideas to make the event delicious and fun.
Putting a fun twist on the evening is always my #1 goal. I sit out carved pumpkins, light a few candles and make some Fall-inspired recipes that always get rave reviews.
Party Themes
Halloween doesn’t need to be spooky or scary. There are lots of ideas for throwing a fun party without Freddy Kruger showing up! Here are a few of my favorites:
- Pumpkin Carving – pile a table with pumpkins of all sizes and give your guests Jack-O-Lantern Carving Sets. Set the clock and at the end of carving time, let everyone show off their best work and award the winner a cool trophy.
- Have everyone dress up in their best Mad Scientist, Wild West or Super Hero costumes.
- Invite your guest to dress up as a famous person. The person with “the best” impersonation wins a fun gift.
