  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cabbage head, chopped
  • Bacon, optional

  4. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.

Ingredients

  • 1lbground beef
  • 1/4teaspoonsalt
  • 1/4teaspoonground black pepper
  • 1/2teaspoondried thyme
  • 1/4teaspoonred pepper flakes
  • 1/2cupchicken brothif needed
  • 1/2cabbage headchopped
  • 10slicesbaconoptional

Instructions

If using Bacon:

  1. Place a 10 inch cast iron pan or frying pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Once the pan is hot, cut the bacon into 1 inch pieces and add to the pan, distribute evenly.

  3. Let the bacon cook for 1 minute unmoved, start stirring it with a wooden spoon to cook evenly.

  4. Cook bacon for about 5 minutes, or until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  5. Drain bacon grease, leaving only about 2 tablespoons.

Cook Beef and Cabbage:
