Katie Price looks unrecognisable in 'horrific' post-surgery snaps (2024)

Katie Price appeared unrecognisable in a series of 'horrific' post-surgery photos taken in June - but has since revealed she hopes to have more cosmetic work on her body over the next five years.

The TV personality, 42, who has been under the knife on multiple occasions, looked swollen and bruised in the snaps released on Monday, as she recovered in bed following her recent operations.

She underwent a Brazilian butt lift,liposuction, eye, chin and lip surgery in Turkey, but admitted she thought she might die as she left the operating theatre after losing so much blood.

And in the recent photos, Katie looked completely different as a source confirmed she was in 'horrendous pain'.

She had plasters covering her bloodied and wounded visage, bandages wrapped around her limbs and catheter tubes trailing away from her body filled with blood.

It appeared Katie could barely open her eyes in the images and had visibly swollen hands.

A source told The Sun: 'Katie is in horrendous pain after undergoing a BBL where they put fat into your bum, eye lift to give her a slight cat eye look, lip lift for a fuller pout, liposuction on her thighs and legs, under her rib cage and back, and scarring from her previous facelift fixed.

'Despite the pain, Katie's thrilled the operation went to plan.She saw a top doctor in Turkey at the Comfort Zone Clinic and has been looked after extremely well.

'Katie is very swollen and bruised but says she is really happy and feels like the old Katie again.'

According to the insider, she was forced to spend her recovery lying on her back with her legs in the air as they were 'so swollen' due to the liposuction.

She was reportedly told she would need a blood transfusion after she awoke from the operations, but refused to have it out of fear she would contract Covid-19.

The source revealed the mother-of-five was recovering in a villa, complete with a pool, and she will reunite with her children in a few weeks. However, she currently has her partner Carl Woods to look after her and keep her company.

Despite the shocking recovery process, Katie is keen to get even more plastic surgery over the next five years.

She told The Sun in a separate interview: 'No I'd do it again... maybe in five to ten years.'

According to her fiance Carl, 31, he watched the reality star while she was in the operating theatre in Turkey and thought she had died.

Katie said of the experience: 'Honestly, I've gone to hell and back, it was horrific — 'Oh my God I look like a monster out of a horror movie'.

'I just thought, 'This is it, I'm going to die.' I was terrified of looking like a freak, like that Bride of Wildenstein or a fake doll.

'I just thought, 'Please, no, don't let this be happening — this is it, then — I'm going to die''.

Katie also dubbed herself a 'surgery veteran' after countless operations including three facelifts and three bouts of liposuction.

She admitted she can't remember how many boob jobs she's had, but believes it is 12, while insisting that Botox no longer works on her after having it so many times since the age of 30.
