Bad news for Team Jellyfish. The Prime Video live-action adaptation of the books written by Jenny Han has been pretty faithful to the source. At the end of the trilogy, Belly picks Conrad. It’s unlikely producers will take a different route for the upcoming (and already confirmed) season 3, considering Han is working as a writer on the series and serving as executive producer. Still, Prime Video might also want to surprise the fans, leaving the door open for an unexpected ending. The final answer will come with TSITP season 3.
TSITP season 2 explored Belly’s choice to stay with Jeremiah, marking a significant turning point in her romantic journey. The character portrayed by Lola Tung realized she loved Conrad’s brother, who has consistently shown his care and support for her.

Despite going to the same college, the relationship between Belly and Jeremiah ends after the younger Fisher brother cheats on her at a party. The betrayal leads to their and Belly’s move to Spain. When Belly returns, they eventually marry, overcoming complications and reuniting for their happily ever after.
