Blackstone Teriyaki Chicken Recipe:
Blackstone Chicken Teriyaki is an easy to meal to make any day of the week. We love using our Blackstone for many different recipes, but cooking this teriyaki chicken is one of our favorites.
The combination of the sweet and savory ingredients mixed together to make an incredible flavor sauce. The chicken cooks perfectly on the grill and gives it a crispy texture and juicy on the inside.
This recipe is super fast and requires little effort. You have to try this easy recipe. You only need a few minutes to grill and you can enjoy flavor packed chicken. Blackstone Recipes are easy thanks to cooking everything on the flat top.

Ingredients:
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, diced into 1 inch pieces
- Avocado Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
For the Sauce:
- Brown Sugar
- Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- Rice Vinegar
- Honey
- Minced Garlic
- Ground Ginger
- Cornstarch
For the Topping:
- Sesame Seeds
- Green Onions, diced
How to Cook Teriyaki Chicken on Blackstone Griddle:
- Step 1 – Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F). Spread the avocado oil onto the grill and use a spatula to spread it around.
- Step 2 – Place the chicken on the grill on top of the oil. Season it with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until the chicken is almost cooked through.
- Step 3 – In a separate bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Pour this on top of the chicken on the blackston.
- Step 4 – Toss to coat the chicken with the sauce mixture. Then cook for 2-3 more minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 165 degrees F).
- Step 5 – Remove the chicken, let sit for 5 minutes. Then serve topped with the sesame seed and diced green onions. Enjoy!
How to Make Teriyaki Chicken on Stovetop:
You can easily making this Teriyaki Chicken on your Stovetop if you prefer. This is the perfect way to cook it if you don’t have Blackstone. You can also make it on an indoor griddle or a cast iron skillet.
Make this Teriyaki chicken in your crock pot or instant pot.
- In a large skillet, add cooking oil to the pan.
- Over medium heat, cook the chicken. Make sure to use a meat thermometer your chicken is done before mixing with the sauce.
- Combine the Teriyaki Sauce ingredients and add to the cooked chicken in the skillet.
- Coat chicken in sauce and cook until thoroughly heated. This will take about 5 minutes.
- Let Teriyaki Chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

- Meat Thermometer – We use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked to a safe temperature.
- Add Vegetables –Make Teriyaki Chicken with chicken and veggies. We love to squeeze lime juice after cooking the teriyaki chicken.
- Add Seasoning –If you like it spicy, add in about a teaspoon of red peppers.
- Chicken – We used chicken breast, but you can easily use chicken thighs.

- White Rice–This is our favorite side dish with this chicken. The delicious sauce is so good spooned over the rice. Ifreeze riceand it is such a time saver during busy weeks.
